Facing the Red River in Hanoi, the garden villa of more than 350m² in a quiet residential area has a privileged location. With an open view to the water and still privacy in the garden, it also has the advantage of going all around the villa, with three access from the street. The neighbors are separated with many high trees, which isolate completely the house.
Nymphaea, the quiet beauty
Leaves floating gently in the water surface, with a green blue color, sometimes supporting small insects, the nymphaea, or waterlily, is inspiring many artists and religions by its calmness and serenity. The flowers rise out of the water or float on the surface, opening during the day or at night. They are like shy treasures opening silently for some hours before hiding its beauty again.

In the entrance of the garden, close to the amazing bonsai pine tree, a modern fishpond bord the edge of the villa. Fitting to the contemporary architecture of the house, the geometrical lines of the pond are yet softened with big natural rocks and plants. The colorful fishes and the lotus flowers, symbol of Vietnam, bring a traditional touch. The waterfall along the edge of the garden plays its natural music, when the elegant crane artworks stand their feet in this oasis.

Except some majestic canopy trees or the pine tree bonsai, the planting of this garden follow a tropical lush style. The green spaces are preserved as much as possible around the villa, planted with border shrubs and beautiful shadow tree species. Thus, the children can play in the grass, while the parents finish eating in the terrasse with their friends, or take a nap on the sofa under the pergola.

With pathways all along the house, every part of the garden is visible and pleasant for the eye. Flagstones in the grass bring a natural aspect and eases rainwater absorption in the soil.
The tropical plants are arranged to create high and low levels changing along the pathway, for an interesting walk. With some high shadow trees, the tropical shrubs bring greenery all year round, with big leaves and some colorful flowers. Moreover, these beautiful shrubs don't require laborious cares, such as the spreading leaves Ravenala, tropical leaves of canna and heterophyllum, the flower bushes gardenia or hibiscus, pink peonies, purple iris and green ferns as a ground cover.

With an open view on the Red river, the garden has the privilege to face one of the most iconic and enchanting view of Hanoi, with a peaceful orange sunset at the end of the day.

Various fruit trees are also displayed all along the garden, Mango, Pomelo, Starfruit, Pomegranate, Star Apple, Jackfruit... The fruit trees punctuate the space, offer sweet fruits for the owners to share with family, and fragrant flowers during the blooming season that stimulate the senses.
